AUSTIN, TEXAS (August 15, 2006) – KGB Consultants has teamed up with some local entrepreneurs to launch a prescription benefit management service to benefit local communities. CommunityMeds is the dream of co-founder Matt Magnuson who has spent over 12 years in the PBM business. "Local community health care facilities have been paying to much for prescriptions and local pharmacies have been loosing the fulfillment business to mail order pharmacies," said Matt. "CommunityMeds will work to meet the needs of local health care authorities while keeping the dollars spent local."

KGB Consultants has a proven track record of assisting start up businesses and accelerating growth. "I am looking forward to working with Matt and the rest of the CommunityMeds team to keep state funds in the state while improving the process by which prescriptions are filled," commented Brent Golemon, President of KGB Consultants. The company plans will be in a development stage throughout the remainder of 2006 and is looking to begin adjudicating prescription in early 2007.
